Same Sex Marriage isn’t gay privilege, it’s equal rights.
I was fortunate to be able to listen to the oral arguments at the U.S. Supreme court. You can listen above and I urge everyone to listen to the arguments.
After listening, I was impressed by the fact that some of the justices seem ready to grant equal rights and some did not. The argument against equality, that we always have done it this way, seemed to fall flat though some justices were clearly inclined to believe this thinking. My feeling after hearing the arguments is that equality will come from this court on a 5-4 vote.
It is a guaranteed right under the 14th Amendment (the right to marry) and I believe the court will uphold this come June, 2015.
